 Blood on the Risers는 제 2차 세계대전 당시 미 공수부대에서 불려진 노래로, 82공수사단, 101공수사단, 173공수여단, 4여단전투팀, 25보병사단에서 불려진 노래라고 합니다. 유명한 영화인 '밴드 오브 브라더스'에서도 불려진 바 있습니다. 음정은 The Battle Hymn of the Republic과 동일합니다.

 

 가사는 일부 논란이 있는 부분들이 있는데, 예를 들어 "Gory, Gory"라는 부분은 원곡에서 Glory라고 한 것에서 근거하여 "Gory, Glory,"  또는 "Glory, Glory," 라고 하는 경우도 있으며, 통상 전자를 선호하나 명확하지는 않다고 합니다.
